RESOLUTION NO. 2023- 025 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF JUNE 6, 2023, FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATE OF COSTS, AND AUTHORIZINGPUBLICATION OF NOTICES FOR THE POTTER CREEK INTERCEPTOR SEWER PROJECT AND OPENING OF BIDS ON JUNE 1, 2023 Whereas, Hart -Frederick Consultants, P. C., has prepared the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents for the construction of the Potter Creek Interceptor Sewer Project; Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa: 1. The date for the Public Hearing of the Project is set for June 6, 2023, at 7: 00 m. and, p. 2. The date for the opening and reading of bids for the Project is set for June 1, 2023, at 10: 00 m. a. and, 3. The date for consideration of bids for the Project by the City Council is set for June 6, 2023, at 7: 00 P.M.and will be acted upon at such time and place or at such time and place as may then be set. 4. The City Council hereby directs the City Clerk to have published the Notice of Hearing of the Contract Documents for the Project in a newspaper of general circulation in the City, which publication shall be made at least once, not less than four ( 4)and not more than twenty ( 20)days prior to the date of the said hearing. 5. The City Council hereby directs the City Clerk to have published the Notice to Bidders of the bid letting for the Project by posting at least once, not less than thirteen ( 13)and not more than forty- five ( 45)days prior to the date set for receipt of bids, in each of the following three places: ( i)in a relevant contractor plan room service with statewide circulation; ( ii) in a relevant construction lead generating service with statewide circulation; and ( iii)on an internet site sponsored by either the City or a statewide association that represents the City. On the 18th day of April, 2023, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2023- 025,A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF JUNE 6, 2023, FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATE OF COSTS, AND AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF NOTICES FOR THE POTTER CREEK INTERCEPTOR SEWER PROJECT AND OPENING OF BIDS ON JUNE 1, 2023, and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Orris. Ayes: Schnedler, Limkemann, Havens, Orris, Olney. Nays: None. Absent: None.
