RESOLUTION NO. 2022-010 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF GROVE PARK AS A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT OVERLAY CONCEPT WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin approved Grove Park as a planned development overlay concept and site district on February 18, 2020; and, WHEREAS, the developer’s agreement for Grove Park requires the commencement of construction to begin within two-years of the approval of the OPD agreement; and, WHEREAS, through a pandemic and the increase in supplies and materials the developers of Grove Park have not been able to start the project; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes the causes in the delay in the project; and, WHEREAS, the developers of Grove Park are requesting an extension of the commencement of the construction of the project, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, with the approval of this resolution grant the Grove Park Planned Development Overlay Concept and Site District an extension to commence the construction of the project until July 5, 2022. On the 1st day of February, 2022, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Schnedler introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2022-010, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF GROVE PARK AS A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT OVERLAY CONCEPT and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Orris. AYES: Olney, Orris, Schnedler, Limkemann, Havens. NAYS: None. ABSENT: None. Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2022-010, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF GROVE PARK AS A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT OVERLAY CONCEPT to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
