RESOLUTION NO. 2021-063 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF NOVEMBER 2, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR A FIRE SAFETY PERMIT ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, the City of Tiffin has already adopted the 2018 International Fire Code, and; Whereas, the intent of the amendment is to be more consistent with neighboring jurisdictions and to provide safety for our residents and first responders; Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the date for the Public Hearing is set for November 2, 2021, to discuss a fire safety permit ordinance. On the 19th day of October, 2021, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson introduced Limkemann RESOLUTION NO. 2021-063, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE OF NOVEMBER 2, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR A FIRE SAFETY PERMIT ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Havens. Ayes: Bartels, Havens, Limkemann, Olney, Schnedler Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2021-063, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE OF NOVEMBER 2, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR A FIRE SAFETY PERMIT ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
