RESOLUTION NO. 2021-058 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE OF DATE OCTOBER 19, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN TO ALLOW CHICKENS INSIDE THE CITY LIMITS Whereas, the City recognizes the need to discuss the option of allowing chickens inside the city limits of Tiffin: and, Whereas, it is necessary to hold a public hearing prior to amending the city code, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the date for a public hearing for October 19, 2021, to discuss amending the Municipal Code of Tiffin to potentially allow chickens inside the city limits. On the 5th day of October, 2021, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2021-058, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF DATE OCTOBER 19, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN TO ALLOW CHICKENS INSIDE THE CITY LIMITS and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Limkemann. Ayes: Schnedler, Limkemann, Bartels, Havens, Olney. Nays: None. Absent: None. Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2021-058, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF OCTOBER 19, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN TO ALLOW CHICKENS INSIDE THE CITY LIMITS to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
