RESOLUTION NO. 2021-057 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 28E AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF NORTH LIBERTY AND THE CITY OF TIFFIN REGARDING CERTAIN COST AND OBLIGATIONS FOR THE DESIGN AND RELOCATION OF CENTRAL IOWA POWER COOPERATIVE TRANSMISSION LINE Whereas, the City Councils of Tiffin and North Liberty desire to enter into a 28E Agreement concerning the relocation of Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO) transmission line; and, Whereas, it is the parties’ desire to agree and establish, in writing per the attached agreement, their understanding concerning the proposed funding of the revision, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve authorize the signatures on the attached 28E Agreement between the City of Tiffin and the City of North Liberty. On this 5th day of October, 2021, at the regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2021-057, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 28E AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF NORTH LIBERTY AND THE CITY OF TIFFIN REGARDING CERTAIN COST AND OBLIGATIONS FOR THE DESIGN AND RELOCATION OF CENTRAL IOWA POWER COOPERATIVE TRANSMISSION LINE and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Limkemann. Ayes: Olney, Limkemann, Bartels, Havens, Schnedler. Nays: None. Absent: None. Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2021-057, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 28E AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF NORTH LIBERTY AND THE CITY OF TIFFIN REGARDING CERTAIN COST AND OBLIGATIONS FOR THE DESIGN AND RELOCATION OF CENTRAL IOWA POWER COOPERATIVE TRANSMISSION LINE to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereunto.
