RESOLUTION NO. 2021-049 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE AUGUST 17, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE A PORTION OF THE ANDERSON ADDITION FROM R-1C TO R-2 AND FROM R-4 TO R-2, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, The City recognizes a request from JDL Development to rezone a portion of the Anderson Addition from R-1C (Single-Family) to R-2 (Two-Family) and from R-4 (Multi-Family) to R-2 (Two-Family) in Tiffin, Iowa, and, Whereas, the rezoning exhibit of the property is attached to this resolution; and, Whereas, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning on a 3-1 vote at its July 14, 2021 meeting. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the date of public hearing for August 17, 2021, to discuss the rezoning of a portion of the Anderson Addition property. On the 3rd day of August, 2021, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2021-049, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF AUGUST 17, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE A PORTION OF THE ANDERSON ADDITION FROM R-1C TO R-2 AND FROM R-4 TO R-2, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Limkemann. Ayes: Havens, Olney, Schnedler, Limkemann, Bartels Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2021-049, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF AUGUST 17, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE A PORTION OF THE ANDERSON ADDITION FROM R-1C TO R-2 AND FROM R-4 TO R-2, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
