RESOLUTION NO. 2021-042 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TIFFIN FIRE DEPARTMENT STIPEND PROGRAM Whereas, the Tiffin City Council recognizes and wishes to start compensating fire fighters, fire department officers and EMS personnel for the calls they respond to and the meetings they attend; and, Whereas, the Council have developed the attached stipend program; and, Whereas, this program will be administered by the fire chief and take effect July 1, 2021. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve the attached Tiffin Fire Department Stipend Program effect July 1, 2021. On this 1st day of June, 2021, at the regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Bartels introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2021-042, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TIFFIN FIRE DEPARTMENT STIPEND PROGRAM and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Olney. Ayes: Olney, Havens, Bartels, Schnedler Nays: None Abstained: Limkemann Absent: None Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2021-042, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TIFFIN FIRE DEPARTMENT STIPEND PROGRAM to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereunto.
