RESOLUTION NO. 2021-010 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FY 2021-2022 PROPOSED MAXIMUM PROPERTY TAX DOLLARS Whereas, Per Senate File 634, the City Council of the City of Tiffin has considered the attached FY 2021-2022 proposed maximum property tax dollars for the affected levy total, and; Whereas, A notice concerning the proposed maximum property tax dollars was published as required and posted on the City’s website and/or social media accounts as applicable, and; Whereas, A public hearing concerning the proposed maximum property tax dollars for affected levy total was held during the Regular City Council Meeting on February 16, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa that the maximum property tax dollars for the affected tax levies for FY 2021-2022 shall not exceed $1,948,810. On the 16th day of February, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Schnedler introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2021-010, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FY 2021-2022 PROPOSED MAXIMUM PROPERTY TAX DOLLARS and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Havens. Ayes: Schnedler, Havens, Limkemann, Olney, Bartels Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2021-010, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FY 2021-2022 PROPOSED MAXIMUM PROPERTY TAX DOLLARS to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
