RESOLUTIONNO.2021-009 ARESOLUTIONACCEPTINGRECOMMENDATIONS FROMTHEIOWA DEPARTMENTOFTRANSPORTATIONFORSPEEDLIMITCHANGESTO HIGHWAY6 Whereas,theCityCouncil oftheCityofTiffin requested aspeed study onHighway 6 from theIowa Department ofTransportation; and, Whereas,theIowa Department ofTransportation hasconducted saidsurvey andmade itsrecommendations asshown ontheattached diagram; and, Whereas,theCityCouncil concurs withthese recommendations, Now,thereforebeitresolved bytheCityCouncil oftheCityofTiffin, Iowa, toaccept thespeed limitrecommendations oftheIowaDepartment ofTransportation. Onthe2 nddayofFebruary, 2021, ataregular meeting oftheTiffin CityCouncil, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Olney introduced RESOLUTIONNO.2021-009,ARESOLUTION ACCEPTINGRECOMMENDATIONS FROMTHEIOWADEPARTMENTOF TRANSPORTATIONFORSPEEDLIMITCHANGESTOHIGHWAY6andmade a motion forapproval. Motion seconded byCouncilperson Bartels. Ayes: Bartels, Olney, Havens, Limkemann, Schnedler Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon fiveCouncil members were present andvoted approval andMayor Berner declared that RESOLUTIONNO.2021-009,ARESOLUTIONACCEPTING RECOMMENDATIONS FROMTHEIOWADEPARTMENTOFTRANSPORTATION FORSPEEDLIMITCHANGESTOHIGHWAY6tobeadopted andsignified his approval ofthesame byaffixing hissignature thereto. nddayofFebruary, 2021.
