RESOLUTION NO. 2020-086 A RESOLUTION FOR FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF THE TRAFFIC SIGNALS PROJECT: IRELAND AVENUE/ROBERTS FERRY ROAD AND HIGHWAY 6/MARENGO ROAD; TIFFIN, IOWA – CONTRACTOR – PRICE INDUSTRIAL, LLC WHEREAS, On October 29, 2020, the Project Engineer states the Project construction was completed in general accordance with the approved Plans and Specifications on file with the City of Tiffin, Iowa and placed into operation and recommends Final Payment be made to the Contractor. WHEREAS, the Traffic Signals Project: Ireland Avenue/Roberts Ferry Road and Highway 6/Marengo Road is complete and acceptable to the City of Tiffin. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the Traffic Signals Project: Ireland Avenue/Roberts Ferry Road and Highway 6/Marengo Road is complete and acceptable to the City of Tiffin and final payment shall be made to the Contractor. On the 3rd day of November, 2020, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2020-086, A RESOLUTION FOR FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF THE TRAFFIC SIGNALS PROJECT: IRELAND AVENUE/ROBERTS FERRY ROAD AND HIGHWAY 6/MARENGO ROAD; TIFFIN, IOWA – CONTRACTOR – PRICE INDUSTRIAL, LLC, and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Schnedler. Ayes: Olney, Schnedler, Bartels, Limkemann, Havens Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2020-086, A RESOLUTION FOR FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF THE TRAFFIC SIGNALS PROJECT: IRELAND AVENUE/ROBERTS FERRY ROAD AND HIGHWAY 6/MARENGO ROAD; TIFFIN, IOWA – CONTRACTOR – PRICE INDUSTRIAL, LLC, to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
