RESOLUTION NO. 2020-073 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE BID FOR THE TIFFIN TRAIL PROJECT – PHASE 7 Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin received bids on September 15, 2020, for the Tiffin Trail Project – Phase 7; and, Whereas, the City Council has identified the lowest, most responsible bid; and, Whereas, the City Council wishes to award the project and begin the contractual process, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign all necessary notices, documents and forms of contract as required and necessary to execute a contract with the lowest, most responsible bidder as identified and recommended by the City Engineer. On the 15th day of September, 2020, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2020-073, A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE TIFFIN TRAIL PROJECT – PHASE 7 and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Havens. Ayes: Bartels, Limkemann, Havens, Olney, Schnedler Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2020-073, A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE TIFFIN TRAIL PROJECT – PHASE 7 to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
