RESOLUTION NO. 2020-071 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO VACATE THE SANITARY SEWER AND UTILITY EASEMENT ON LOT 2, VILLAGES OF TIFFIN – PHASE ONE, TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, the Owner of Lot 2, Villages of Tiffin has requested the City vacate a 10 foot sanitary sewer and utility easement; and, Whereas, City Staff, the City Attorney and Hart-Frederick have reviewed the attached vacation of easement request and have determined it is now no longer necessary to have the easement; Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve setting a public hearing date on September 15, 2020, to vacate the easement for Lot 2, Villages of Tiffin, Phase One and approve the agreement thereof. On the 1st day of September, 2020, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Bartels introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2020-071, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO VACATE THE SANITARY SEWER AND UTILITY EASEMENT ON LOT 2, VILLAGES OF TIFFIN – PHASE ONE, TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Olney. Ayes: Bartels, Olney, Schnedler, Havens Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2020-071, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO VACATE THE SANITARY SEWER AND UTILITY EASEMENT ON LOT 2, VILLAGES OF TIFFIN – PHASE ONE, TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
