RESOLUTION NO. 2020-069 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE THE PROPERTY FORMALLY KNOWN AS THE ‘LUNDT PROPERTY’ FROM R-1E TO M-2, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, The City recognizes a request from JR Cedar Rapids Holdings, LLC to rezone the property formally known as the ‘Lundt Property’ (Ireland Avenue SW and Frontage Road) from R-1E (Estate Family) to M-2 (Heavy Industrial) in Tiffin, Iowa, and, Whereas, the rezoning exhibit of the property is attached to this resolution; and, Whereas, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning on a 5-0 vote at its August 12, 2020 meeting. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the date of public hearing for September 15, 2020, to discuss the rezoning of the ‘Lundt Property’ located at Ireland Avenue SW and Frontage Road. On the 1st day of September, 2020, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2020-069, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE THE PROPERTY FORMALLY KNOWN AS THE ‘LUNDT PROPERTY’ FROM R-1E TO M-2, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Schnedler. Ayes: Schnedler, Havens, Bartels, Olney Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2020-069, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE THE PROPERTY FORMALLY KNOWN AS THE ‘LUNDT PROPERTY’ FROM R-1E TO M-2, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
