RESOLUTION NO. 2020-062 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE 505 SOUTH PARK ROAD (MADDEN ADDITION) FROM R-1E TO R-2, R-1D AND R-1B, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, The City recognizes a request from Midwest Home Builders to rezone 505 South Park Road (Madden Addition) from R-1E (Estate Family) to R-2 (Two-Family) R-1D (Single-Family, High Density) and R-1B (Single-Family, Medium Density) in Tiffin, Iowa, and, Whereas, the rezoning exhibit of the property is attached to this resolution; and, Whereas, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning on a 4-1 vote at its July 8, 2020 meeting. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the date of public hearing for August 4, 2020, to discuss the rezoning of the property located at 505 South Park Road. On the 21st day of July, 2020, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2020-062, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE 505 SOUTH PARK ROAD (MADDEN ADDITION) FROM R-1E TO R-2, R-1D AND R-1B, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Schnedler. Ayes: Bartels, Schnedler, Havens, Olney Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2020-062, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE 505 SOUTH PARK ROAD (MADDEN ADDITION) FROM R-1E TO R-2, R-1D AND R-1B, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
