RESOLUTION NO. 2020-049 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DISPOSITION OF CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY, TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, the City of Tiffin has excess right-of-way along the east side Ireland Avenue adjacent to the Tiffin Industrial Park; and, Whereas, with the development of Shamrock Center, this right-of-way is no longer necessary as the elevation of the ground now is consistent with the elevation of the street; and, Whereas, the City has received and offer for the right-of-way in the amount of $1000; Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve the disposition of City Right-of-Way located along the east side of Ireland Avenue, adjacent to the Tiffin Industrial Park, which legal description is attached, to Hightower Development. On the 2nd day of June, 2020, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Schnedler introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2020-049, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DISPOSITION OF CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY, TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Havens. Ayes: Olney, Bartels, Schnedler, Havens Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2020-049, RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DISPOSITION OF CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY, TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
