RESOLUTIONNO.2020-025 ARESOLUTIONSETTINGAPUBLICHEARINGDATETOAMENDTHEMUNICIPAL CODEOFTIFFINTOPROHIBITPARKINGBETWEENTHESIDEWALKANDTHE CURBLINE Whereas,TheCityCouncil recognizes theneed toamend themunicipal codeofTiffin toprohibit vehicular parking between thesidewalk and thecurbline, and; Whereas,TheCityCouncil wishes tosetapublic hearing todiscuss anordinance amendment; Now,thereforebeitresolved bytheCityCouncil oftheCityofTiffin, Iowa tosetthe date ofMay5,2020, forapublic hearing toamend themunicipal codeofTiffinto prohibit parking between thesidewalk andcurbline. st Onthe21dayofApril, 2020, ataregular meeting oftheTiffin CityCouncil, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Olney introduced RESOLUTIONNO.2020-025,ARESOLUTION SETTINGAPUBLICHEARINGDATETOAMENDTHEMUNICIPALCODEOF TIFFINTOPROHIBITPARKINGBETWEENTHESIDEWALKANDTHECURBLINE andmade amotion forapproval. Motion seconded byCouncilperson Bartels. Ayes: Schnedler, Walls, Havens, Olney, Bartels Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon fiveCouncil members were present andvoted approval andMayor Berner declared thatthe RESOLUTIONNO.2020-025,ARESOLUTIONSETTINGA PUBLIC HEARINGDATETOAMENDTHEMUNICIPALCODEOFTIFFINTOPROHIBIT PARKINGBETWEENTHESIDEWALKANDTHECURBLINE tobeadopted and signified hisapproval ofthesame byaffixing hissignature thereto. st Passed bytheCityCouncil onthe21dayofApril, 2020.
