RESOLUTION NO. 2019-127 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE 3287 IRELAND AVENUE NW FROM R-1E TO M-2, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, The City recognizes a request from JR Cedar Rapids Holdings, LLC, to rezone a 3287 Ireland Avenue NW from R-1E (Estate Family) to M-2 (Heavy Industrial) in Tiffin, Iowa, and, Whereas, the rezoning map of the property is attached to this resolution; and, Whereas, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning on a 4-0 vote at its December 11, 2019 meeting. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the date of public hearing for January 7, 2020, to discuss the rezoning of the property located at 3287 Ireland Avenue NW. On the 17th day of December, 2019, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2019-127, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE 3287 IRELAND AVENUE NW FROM R-1E TO M-2, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Schnedler. Ayes: Havens, Bartels, Upton, Ryan, Schnedler Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2019-127, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF A PUBLIC HEARING TO REZONE 3287 IRELAND AVENUE NW FROM R-1E TO M-2, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
