RESOLUTION NO. 2019-121 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FY 2020-2021 COMPENSATION PROGRAM GUIDELINES Whereas, The City of Tiffin hired Hinson Consulting to perform a compensation study, and; Whereas, a small committee was formed to work with Hinson Consulting to perform, review and make a recommendation to the City Council, and; Whereas, the City Council reviewed the results of the study and program recommendations which includes targeted salary/wage increases at a Special City Council Meeting on November 18, 2019, and; Whereas, the City Council wishes to review each step of the program on an annual basis during the City's budget process, and; Whereas, the City Council will consider all relevant information and set annual benchmarks during the budget process before determining whether to approve and appropriate each step of the compensation program, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve the attached compensation program guidelines first step for FY 2020-2021 and make it effective on July 1, 2020. On the 3rd day of December, 2019, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Upton introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2019-121, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FY 2020-2021 COMPENSATION PROGRAM GUIDELINES and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Havens. Ayes: Schnedler, Havens, Bartels, Upton Nays: None Absent: Ryan Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2019-121, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FY 2020-2021 COMPENSATION PROGRAM GUIDELINES to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
