RESOLUTION NO. 2018-796 APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE 2018 INTERSTATE WATERMAIN RELOCATION PROJECT FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, UPON REVIEW OF THE BIDS AND RECOMMENDATION BY THE PROJECT ENGINEER WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Tiffin has received bids for the 2018 Interstate Watermain Relocation Project; and WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin has identified Dave Schmitt Construction of Cedar Rapids, Iowa as having the lowest, most responsible bid; and WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin desires to expedite the contractual process; now THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tiffin to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign all necessary notices, documents, and forms of contract, as required and necessary to execute a contract with Dave Schmitt Construction as identified and recommended by the Project Engineer.
