Whereas,TheCityrecognizes thatitmusthold apublic hearing onfortheupdating of
theCity’s Comprehensive Plan, and;
Whereas,theCity Council oftheCityofTiffin recognizes thatthePlanning & Zoning
Commission hasworked ontheplanandheld itsrequired public hearing.
Now,thereforebeitresolvedbytheCity Council oftheCityofTiffin, Iowato approve
setting thedate forapublic hearing onMay 15,2018, todiscuss theupdated City of
Tiffin Comprehensive Plan.

Onthe17day ofApril, ataregular meeting oftheTiffin CityCouncil, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Uptonintroduced RESOLUTIONNO.2018-038,ARESOLUTION
SETTINGADATEFORAPUBLICHEARINGTOADOPTTHEUPDATEDCITYOF
TIFFINCOMPREHENSIVEPLANandmade amotion forapproval. Motion seconded
byCouncilperson Ryan.
Ayes: Ryan, Upton, Bartels, Havens, Schnedler
Nays: None
Absent: None
Whereupon fiveCouncil members were present andvoted approval andMayor Berner
declared thattheRESOLUTIONNO.2018-038, ARESOLUTIONSETTING ADATE
FORAPUBLICHEARINGTOADOPTTHEUPDATEDCITYOFTIFFIN
COMPREHENSIVEPLANtobeadopted andsignified hisapproval ofthesame by
affixinghis signature thereto.
