RESOLUTIONNO.2017-049 ARESOLUTION TOAPFORVILLAGE DRIVEIMPROVEMENTS, RISEGRANTAGREEMENTANDACCEPTANCEOFTHE DEEDFORVILLAGEDRIVE Whereas,ithasbeen determined thatitisinthebest interest oftheCitytoenter intoa 80/380 Commerce Park LLCfortheimprovements to Village Drive; and, Whereas CityofTiffinwasawarded aRISE Grant fortheimprovements toVillage Drive where theCitywasusedasthemechanism tosecure thegrant; and, Whereas,itisalso inthebest interest oftheCitytoenter intoanagreement forthe execution ofthegrant fortheimprovements, Now,thereforebeitresolvedbytheCityCouncil oftheCityofTiffin, Iowa thatthe andRISE Agreement ishereby approved, andthe Mayor andCityClerk ofTiffin, Iowa, arehereby authorized toexecute theattached Agreements andalsothat theCityCouncil accept thedeed forVillage Drive. th Onthe27 dayofJune, 2017, ataregular meeting oftheTiffin CityCouncil, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Havensintroduced RESOLUTIONNO.2017-049,A RESOLUTION VILLAGE DRIVEIMPROVEMENTS, RISEGRANTAGREEMENTANDACCEPTANCEOFTHE DEEDFORVILLAGEDRIVE,TIFFIN,IOWA,andmade amotion forapproval. Motion seconded byCouncilperson Ryan. Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Ryan, Kahler Nays: None. Absent: None. Whereupon Five Council members were present andvoted approval andMayor Berner declared thatRESOLUTIONNO.2017-049,ARESOLUTIONTOAPPROVETHE VILLAGEDRIVEIMPROVEMENTS, RISE GRANTAGREEMENTANDACCEPTANCEOFTHEDEEDFORVILLAGEDRIVE, TIFFIN,IOWA,tobeadopted and signified hisapproval ofthesame byaffixing his signature thereto. th Passed bytheCityCouncil onthe27 dayofJune, 2017.
