RESOLUTION NO. 2016- 019 A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO SECTION 9. 16, HOME OCCUPATION, AND ITS DEFINITION Whereas, The City realizes that the definition and the use of section 9. 16, Home Occupation and its definition needs to be amended and updated, and; Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that it is in the best interest of the City to amend and update the Home Occupation Ordinance; Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set a public hearing for this Ordinance Amendment for March 22, 2016 at 7: 00 p. m. On the 8th day of March, 2016, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2016- 019, A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO SECTION 9. 16, HOME OCCUPATION, AND ITS DEFINITION and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Ryan. Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Ryan, Kahler Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon Five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the Resolution No. 2016- 019, A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO SECTION 9. 16, HOME OCCUPATION, AND ITS DEFINITION to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto. 8th Passed by the City Council on the day of March, 2016.
