RESOLUTION NO. 2015-125 RESOLUTION TO SET A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON AMENDING THE TIFFIN ZONING ORDINANCE REGARDING APARTMENTS IN COMMERCIAL ZONES Whereas, the City Council has realized a need to revisit first floor residential living space in commercial zoned districts, and; Whereas, the Planning & Zoning has reviewed this ordinance at its November meeting and has made recommendations to the City Council of the City of Tiffin as to what is in the City's best interest, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set a public hearing for an Ordinance Amendment for December 9, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. On the 25th day of November, 2015, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2015-125, RESOLUTION TO SET A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON AMENDING THE TIFFIN ZONING ORDINANCE REGARDING APARTMENTS IN COMMERCIAL ZONES and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Ryan. Ayes: Bartels, Upton, Havens, Ryan, Kahler Nays: None. Absent: None. Whereupon Five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the Resolution No. 2015-125, RESOLUTION TO SET A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON AMENDING THE TIFFIN ZONING ORDINANCE REGARDING APARTMENTS IN COMMERCIAL ZONES to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
