CITY OF TIFFIN IOWA RESOLUTION 2014- 130 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE FISCAL YEAR 2013- 2014 ANNUAL CITY STREET FINANCIAL REPORT AS REQUIRED BY IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION BY SEPTEMBER. 30, 2014 Whereas, the Code of Iowa, Chapter 312, Section 14 requires the submission of this report by September 30 yearly. In accordance with Section 312. 15, the Iowa Department of Transportation must certify to the State Treasurer each city not complying with this section of the Code, and once notified, the State Treasurer will withhold funds allocated to the city until the city complies. Whereas, this report provides the Iowa Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration with a documented record of street receipts and expenditures for cities. Whereupon after careful review of the report on the 24th day of September 2014, at a regular City Council meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE FISCAL YEAR 2013- 2014 ANNUAL CITY STREET FINANCIAL REPORT AS REQUIRED BY IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION BY SEPTEMBER 30, 2014, and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Kahler. Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Petersen, Bartels, Upton Nays: NONE Absent: None WHEREUPON, with five votes for approval Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE FISCAL YEAR 2013- 2014 ANNUAL CITY STREET FINANCIAL REPORT AS REQUIRED BY IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION BY SEPTEMBER 30, 2014, be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto. 24th PASSED by the City Council of Tiffin on the day of September 2014.
