RESOLUTION NO. 2014-073 RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION ACCESS PERMIT FOR TIFFIN HEIGHTS IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin recognizes the importance of subdivisions and the construction work that must be completed but also realizes that the traffic from construction equipment should be separated from neighboring residents so as to create a smoother flow of traffic. WHEREAS, Tiffin Heights is requesting a separate Temporary Construction Access Permit from IDOT to use the drive that is currently a farm entrance as a Temporary Construction Access. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA, that Tiffin Heights is hereby permitted to use a Temporary Access for Construction purposes. On the 25th day of June, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2014-073, and made a motion for denial. Motion seconded by Councilperson Upton. Resolution No. 2014-073 did not pass. AYE: Kahler, Ryan, Bartels, Upton NAY: NONE ABSENT: Petersen Denied by the City Council on the 25th day of June, 2014.
