NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED URBAN RENEWAL PLAN AMENDMENT Notice Is Hereby Given: That at 7:00 p.m., at City Hall, 300 Railroad Street, Tiffin, Iowa, on the 11th day of June, 2014, the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the question of amending the urban renewal plan for the Tiffin Urban Renewal Area to facilitate the undertaking of new urban renewal projects consisting of (i) using tax increment financing to the pay the costs of paving the unpaved portion of Jasper Avenue; (ii) using tax increment financing to the pay the costs of installing a splash pad at City Park; (iii) using tax increment financing to support Hart Dentistry in the development of new dental office facilities; (iv) using tax increment financing to pay the costs of certain streetscape improvements necessary for the Prairie Trail West development project; and (v) using tax increment financing to pay the costs of constructing turn lanes on Highway 6 near its intersection with Jasper Avenue. A copy of the amendment is on file for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk. At said hearing any interested person may file written objections or comments and may be heard orally with respect to the subject matters of the hearing. Michon Jackson City Clerk
