RESOLUTION NO. 2014-057 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF PRAIRIE WEST-PART 2, TIFFIN, IOWA WHEREAS, Jim Glasgow, has filed with the City of Tiffin a preliminary plat for Prairie West-Part 2, to the City of Tiffin, Iowa, legally described on the attached Exhibit "A", and, WHEREAS, The Tiffin Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed and given their recommendations for the preliminary plat presented at the 05/07/14, with exceptions as described on the original preliminary plat, and, WHEREAS, The Tiffin Fire Chief has reviewed and given his recommendations for the preliminary plat, subject to certain revisions on the preliminary plat, and; WHEREAS, the City Engineer has given his review and comments of said preliminary plat, subject to certain revisions, and provided however that no improvements shall be constructed or installed without his written approval, which may be withheld until such time as all necessary permits have been issued from the state and federal agencies. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa that the Mayor and City Clerk/Administrator are hereby authorized to execute any documents necessary at this time to approve the preliminary plat as submitted and as approved by the City Engineer and City Attorney, subject to the approval of the Developer's Agreement. On the 14th day of May, 2014 at a regular City Council meeting Council person Bartels introduced A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF PRAIRIE WEST-PART 2, TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Upton. Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Petersen, Bartels, Upton Nays: None Absent: None WHEREUPON five Council members voted for approval, Mayor Berner declared the motion carried and approved Resolution 2014-057 be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
