RESOLUTION NO. 2014-043 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO AMEND THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN TO CREATE DEBT NECESSARY TO SPEND TIF FUNDS AND MAKE NECESSARY UPDATES TO ACCOUNT FOR PROJECTS Whereas, The City recognizes that it has to create debt and use TIF funds received to pay for said debt by the end of this fiscal year and; Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that it is necessary to Amend the Urban Renewal Plan to account for the debt, projects from the Capital Improvements Listing and necessary additions for the creation of TIF areas as indicated by Council; Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve the City Administrator/Clerk to amend the Urban Renewal Plan to create debt necessary to spend TIF funds and make necessary updates to account for projects. On the 26th day of March, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2014-043, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO AMEND THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN TO CREATE DEBT NECESSARY TO SPEND TIF FUNDS AND MAKE NECESSARY UPDATES TO ACCOUNT FOR PROJECTS and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Upton. Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Petersen, Bartels, Upton Nays: none. Absent: none. Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the Resolution No. 2014-043, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO AMEND THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN TO CREATE DEBT NECESSARY TO SPEND TIF FUNDS AND MAKE NECESSARY UPDATES TO ACCOUNT FOR PROJECTS to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
