CITY OF TIFFIN RESOLUTION NO. 2011- 46 RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT TO METRO PAVERS, INC FOR TRAILS PHASE FOUR PAY ESTIMATE # 1 WHEREAS: City Council awarded Metro Pavers, Inc. the contract for the construction of Trails Phase Four. Bid let by the Iowa Department of Transportation, STP— E- 7662( 609)- 8V- 52. WHEREAS: Metro Pavers, Inc. has now presented a partial payment for ( 16%) for the amount of payment for $ 27, 244. 50. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY The City Council of Tiffin, Iowa to authorize the Mayor and the City Clerk to make payment on the estimate # 1 and sign appropriate forms. 28th Ata special meeting of City Council on the day of September 2011 Resolution 2011- 46 RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT TO METRO PAVERS, INC FOR TRAILS PHASE FOUR PAY ESTIMATE # 1was introduced by Councilperson Chris Ball and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Travis Weipert. AYES: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipeit NAY: None ABSENT: Mike Gericke WHEREUPON with: Four votes for approval, Mayor Phillips now declares Resolution 2011- 46 RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT TO METRO PAVERS, INC FOR TRAILS PHASE FOUR PAY ESTIMATE # 1 passed and confirms this action by affixing his signature.
