AGENDA ITEM # K-5 AGENDA INFORMATION TIFFIN CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION DATE: April 2, 2026 AGENDA ITEM: Discussion and Consideration of Pay Application #7 – Tricon Construction – Tiffin Water Treatment Facility Upgrade Project ACTION: Motion Background The City of Tiffin continues work on the Water Treatment Plant Upgrades project, which is being completed by Tricon Construction Group with engineering services provided by MSA Professional Services. Pay Application No. 7 covers work completed during the period of February 21, 2026 through March 27, 2026. Progress this period includes continued work on: • Site work and grading activities • Concrete and structural components • Mechanical and process system installation • Electrical and utility-related work • Equipment procurement and stored materials The detailed schedules (pages 2–9) show incremental progress across multiple divisions, with continued advancement in foundations, piping, and equipment installation. Staff Recommendation Staff recommends approval of Pay Application No. 7 in the amount of $337,184.25 to Tricon Construction Group for work completed on the Water Treatment Plant Upgrades project.
