Special Session - Call to Order – 10:30 AM B. Roll Call The City of Tiffin City Council held a special session Tuesday, March 25, 2026, at the Tiffin City Hall Council Chambers. Mayor Pro-Tem Orris called the meeting to order at 10:31 AM. Upon roll being called the following members were present: Eric Schnedler, Tony Johnson, Chris Olney, Tim Orris and Skylar Limkemann. Absent: Mayor Kasparek. Others present: City Administrator Doug Boldt, Assistant City Administrator Ashley Platz, City Clerk Abigail Hora. C. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval Motion to approve agenda by Olney. Second by Schnedler. All ayes, agenda approved. D. Communications and Reports 1. Discussion: John Conyn, the retired Fire Chief from Spencer, Iowa, was present, introduced himself and provided an overview of his background in the fire service. He discussed strategies for enhancing the leadership capabilities of current members of the department as well as opportunities to further develop the existing senior leadership team.
