connection with the performance of inspection and enforcements services specified in this agreement. 5. This agreement shall be in full force and effect upon the execution of both parties and shall remain in effect until June 30, 2009. Thereafter the agreement shall automatically renew for successive one-year terms unless otherwise agreed to by the parties in writing, except as provided in numbered paragraph 5 below. This agreement may be amended by agreement of both parties. Either party may terminate said agreement by filing written notice of the same to the Mayor of either city within 60 days of each successive June 30th. In this instance, the agreement shall become null and void as of that July 1st. 6. Notwithstanding any term of this agreement to the contrary, the parties agree that, beginning July 1, 2009, and each July 1 thereafter, either party may request an increase or reduction of amounts due and payable for services hereunder. In the event the parties cannot agree on any proposed changes, this agreement shall terminate the following September 1st. 7. No separate agency. Both parties expressly agree that no separate agency shall be created by this Agreement, and that the City Council of each City shall administer each city's duties hereunder. 8. Filing. After execution and approval of this Agreement, the City Clerk of Coralville shall file a copy of this Agreement with the Secretary of State as required by law.
