H.5 REGARDING APPROVED WATER SERVICE LINE MATERIALS WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa desires to amend the City of Tiffin Design Standards, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Council. of Tiffin, Iowa, that it hereby amends the City of Tiffin Design Standards by removing Section 7.H.5 and replacing it to read as follows: Service pipe must be either seamless annealed copper, Type K conforming to ASTM B- 88 or P.E. 3408 as defined in current ASTM D2239 and AWWA C901 P. E. 200 psi. rated pipe. See Figure 7. 3 for typical water service installation.
