CITY OF TIFFIN RESOLUTION NO. 2004_48 A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING DELINQUENT WATER/SEWER CHARGES TO CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN THE SAME MANNER AS PROPERTY TAXES WHEREAS, the City Clerk has sent billings for water service to certain owners of property all as shown on the attachments hereto; WHEREAS, said property owners have failed to send payment to the City Clerk for said billings for water service; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN, IOWA, that the City Clerk is authorized to report said delinquencies as liens upon the property described on the attachment hereto, to collect the same as provided by the Iowa Code. The Clerk is hereby authorized to notify the County Auditor of this resolution. ON THE 18th day of August, 2004, at a special meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Gericke introduced A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING DELINQUENT WATER/SEWER CHARGES TO CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN THE SAME MANNER AS PROPERTY TAXES, and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Bartels. Ayes: Bartels, Gericke, and Dils Nays: None Absent: Huedepohl, Petersen Motion carried. WHEREUPON, the Mayor declared that RESOLUTION CERTIFYING DELINQUENT WATER/SEWER CHARGES TO CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN THE SAME MANNER AS PROPERTY TAXES, be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
