CITY OF TIFFIN IOWA ORDINANCE NO. 2016- 385 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TIFFIN ZONING ORDINANCE 2007- 287 AND ANY AMENDMENTS THERETO, AMENDING NO. SECTION 7. 04( e), PARKING OR LOADING SPACE Section I. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Zoning Eliminate Ordinance No. 2007- 287, Section 7. 04( e) Parking and Loading Space. parking of commercial vehicles within zoning districts R1 -A, R1 -B, R1 -C, R1 -D, R-2, R- 4, R- 8, and R- 12. Section II.Amendment. Section 7. 04, Parking or Loading Space; the following is added to section 7. 04E. For properties zoned: R1 -A, R1 -B R1 -C, R1 -D, R-2, R-4, R-8, R-12: Commercial vehicles with a chassis rating over one ton shall not be stored or parked on premises unless completely confined within the primary or accessory building. Section III. Re ealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Section IV. Severability. If any section, provision, or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. Section V. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage, approval, and posting as provided by law. On the 6th day of September 2016, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Upton introduced Ordinance No. 2016- 385, and moved that it be given its first reading. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Havens. Ayes: Havens, Kahler, Upton, Bartels Nays: None. Four members of the Council being present and having voted " Aye", Mayor Steve Berner declared the motion carried, and Ordinance No. 2016- 385, was read the first time, discussed, and placed on record.
