Ordinance 1998- 224 Page 2 Section 5. Severability. If any section, provision, or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional , such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or section, any provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional . Section 6. Effective Date . This ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage, approval , and as posting provided by law. On 11th November the day of 1998, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin Council, City Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Walls introduced 1998- 224 Ordinance No. and moved that it be given its first' reading. The motion was Gericke seconded by Councilperson f I Gericke, Ryan, Walls , and Bartels . Ayes: None. Absent: Kern Nayes : x, Four members the of council being present and having voted Aye" , Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared the motion carried, r. and Ordinance No. 1998- 224 was read the first time and J discussed and placed on record. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Bartels Gericke, Walls , Bartels and Ryan. Ayes: None. Absent : Kern Nayes : Four members of the council being present and having voted Aye" , Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared the motion carried, and Ordinance No. 1998- 224 , was read the second time and discussed and placed on record. On the 11th day of November 1998 , at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council , Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Gericke introduced 1998- 224 Ordinance No. and moved that it be given its third and last reading.
