220 CITY OF TIFFIN ORDINANCE NO. 1998- AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1998- 219 ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE ' MUNICIPAL CODE OF TIFFIN, IOWA REGARDING FIRST FLOOR APARTMENTS IN COMMERCIAL ZONES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN, IOWA: Section 1. Purpose : The purpose of this ordinance is to Tiffin . Ordinance No. 1998- 21? Section amend City of 5. 10 and 5 . 07 first floor apartments in regarding commercial zones . Section 2. Amendment . City of Tiffin Ordinance No. 1998- ? 17 hereby Section 5 . 10 is amended by adding the following thereunder as Paragraph M: M. First Floor Apartments in Commercial Zones First floor apartments are permitted in commercial zones when the residential dwelling space is separated from the frontage by no less than 20 ( twenty) feet of enclosed all- weather structure suitable for commercial uses . Accessways and hallways connecting the first floor ' apartment to the frontage are permitted. Section 3. Amendment : City of Tiffin Ordinance No. 1998- 217 Section 5 . 07 . F. l .r. is hereby deleted. Section 4. Amendment : City of Tiffin Ordinance No. 1998- 217 Section 5 . 07 . F. 1.( a) is repealed and the following is submitted in lieu thereof : a) First floor apartments permitted if in compliance with Section 5 . 10 . M. Section 5. Amendment : City of Tiffin Ordinance No. 1998 Section 5 . 07 . G. 1 . ( a) is repealed and the 917 following is submitted' in lieu thereof : a) First floor apartments permitted if in compliance with Section 5 . 10 . M.
