Ordinances-1996-210

On the 11th day of December, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Walls introduced Ordinance No. 1996-210, and moved that it be given its first reading. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Gericke. Ayes: Gericke, Walls, Brown, Bartels, and Kern Nays: None. Five members of the council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared the motion carried, and Ordinance No. 1996-210, was read the first time and discussed and placed on record. On the 11th day of December, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Brown moved that the laws and rules requiring consideration and reading at two council meetings prior to the meeting at which it is to be finally approved be suspended and dispensed with; and that Ordinance No. 1996-210, and entitled AMENDING 1996-204 (ZONING) SECOND FLOOR APARTMENTS IN C-2, be placed on its last reading. Ayes: Kern, Bericke, Walls, Brown, and Bartels Nays: None. Five members of the council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared the motion carried, and Ordinance No. 1996-210 was then placed on its last reading and was read the last time. Thereupon it was moved by Councilmember Walls and seconded by Councilmember Gericke that Ordinance No. 1996-210, entitled, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1996-204 (ZONING) be placed upon its final passage and be adopted.
