Ordinance No. 1985-134 SECTION 6. Saving Clause. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of this ordinance as a whole, or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. SECTION 7 Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect beginning January 1, 1986. Councilman Stevens introduced the foregoing ordinance which was then duly read and considered by the Council. Its adoption was moved by Councilman Stevens and seconded by Councilman Cox. On roll call vote Councilman Cox, Morgan, Runge, Spivey, Stevens voted "Aye". ________ voted "Nay". Mayor declared motion carried. Councilman Runge then moved that the rule or law requiring three readings of this ordinance on three different dates be dispensed with. Seconded by Councilman Morgan. On roll call vote Councilman ________ Cox, Morgan, Runge, Spivey, Stevens voted "Aye." Councilman ____________ voted "Nay." Councilman Morgan then moved for final adoption of this ordinance, seconded by Councilman Stevens. On roll call vote Councilman Cox, Morgan, Runge, Spivey, Stevens ________ voted "Aye." Councilman ____________ voted "Nay." The Mayor Pro-tem then declared Ordinance No. 1985-134 duly passed and adopted on this 12th day of June, 1985. Theodore O. Spivey Mayor Pro-tem Adelia S. Kern Clerk-Treasurer The foregoing ordinance entitled AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 110 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF TIFFIN, IOWA PRESCRIBING THE AMOUNT OF PAYMENT TO ELECTED OFFICIALS FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR DUTIES was published on the 19th day of June, 1985 by posting copies thereof in three public places within the limits, two of which are the mayor's office and the post office.
