AGENDA ITEM # K-3 AGENDA INFORMATION TIFFIN CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION DATE: May 15, 2026 AGENDA ITEM: Discussion and Consideration of Change Order #2 – Cornerstone Excavating – Tiffin Forevergreen Road Grading Project and Council Action as Needed ACTION: Motion Background The City of Tiffin is currently completing the Forevergreen Road Grading Project with Cornerstone Excavating, Inc. serving as the contractor. Change Order No. 2 has been submitted to address additional erosion control measures required on the project site. These items were necessary to stabilize disturbed areas and ensure compliance with stormwater and site management requirements. The additional work included in this change order reflects necessary field adjustments related to erosion control and site conditions. These types of improvements are common in large grading projects, particularly when managing stormwater and long-term stabilization. The costs are consistent with the scope of work and reflect standard unit pricing for erosion control measures and site restoration activities. No additional working days were requested as part of this change order.
