ORDINANCE NO. 1983- 112 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1979- 83 . OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF TIFFIN, IOWA, BY CHANGING THE USE REGULATIONS„ OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R- 1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO A2 RESTRICTED AGRICULTURAL USES. BE IT ENACTED' BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN, ,. IOWA: SECTION I . Purpose: The purpose of this ordinance is to amend the zoning map of the zoning ordinance 1979- 83 of the Municipal. Code of Tiffin, Iowa, by changing the use classification of the real estate described in Section from'° II , ., - R- 1' Single Family Residential to A2 Restricted Agricultural Uses SECTION II . Amendment. The lot hereinafter described shall be zoned as follows : From R- 1 Single Family Residential to A2 Restricted Agricultural Uses, the following' lot: Commencing at a concrete nail found at the . South Quarter corner of Section 28, Township 80 North, Range 7 West of the 5th Principal - Meridian; Thence NO° 00 ' 00" E, ( an assumed bearing) along the West ' , line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 28, 630 . 45 feet; Thence N87° 40 ' 24" E, 433. 31 feet, to a point which is 50 . 00 feet normally distant Northwesterly of the- centerline of the Main trackage of the Chicago Rock Island and Pacific Railroad Company, and which point is the Point of Beginning; Thence N2° 19 ' 36" W; 100. 00 feet, to a point on the Southeasterly line, of .Railroad Street; Thence N87° 40 ' 24." E, 290. 00 feet, along said Southeasterly line; Thence. Authorization: The mayor or other appointee of the City Council is hereby authorized and directed to change r the zoning map of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, which was duly recorded in Book 19, page 53 , Records of Johnson County, to conform to this amendment upon final passage, approval , and publication of the ordinance as provided -by law. SECTION IV. Certification: The City Clerk is hereby' , authorized and directed to certify a copy of this ordinance to the County Recorder of Johnson County, Iowa, upon final Ipassage, approval , and publication as provided by law.
