Section V. When Effective. This ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage, approval and publication as provided by law. KERN The foregoing ordinance entitled AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 62 and 57 SO AS TO REQUIRE WATER AND SEWER BILLS TO BE PAID BY THE OWNER OF THE PROPERTY RATHER THAN THE TENANT, was published on the 11th day of February, 1983, by posting copies thereof in three public places within the city limits, two of which are the mayor's office and the post office. Adelia S. Kern CLERK, ADELIA S. KERN Councilman Rohret introduced the foregoing Ordinance which was then read and duly considered by the Council. Its adoption was moved by Councilman Stevens and seconded by Councilman Spivey. On roll call Councilmen Brown, Spivey, Rohret, Stevens, Cox voted "Ayes." ______ voted "Nays." Whereupon the Mayor declared the motion carried. Councilman Stevens then moved that the rule or law requiring three readings of this ordinance on three different dates be dispensed with. Motion seconded by Councilman Spivey. On roll call Councilmen Spivey, Rohret, Stevens, Cox, Brown voted "Ayes." Councilmen ______ voted "Nays." The Mayor then declared the Ordinance duly passed and adopted on the 9th day of February, 1983. Posted in three places within the corporate limits of Tiffin, Iowa. Adelia S. Kern J.R.
