Minutes-8 /16/1971

Minutes of Special Council Meeting, August 16, 1971, Tiffin, Iowa. Purpose of meeting to hold budget hearing. Mayor Dale Flansburg presiding. Councilmen present: Kandy Kobold, Ned Allen, Glenn Potter, and Ted Spivey. Absent: Don Davis. No one was present to object to the budget. Ned Allen made a motion to approve the budget. Glenn Potter seconded. All in favor by roll call vote. Bill Verry was at the meeting to find out about the drainage from the 4-plex Bob Sadler is building. Mr. Neuzil sent a resolution from the Environmental Quality Control to be signed if Tiffin wants to join. Glenn Potter made a motion to join. Kandy Kobold seconded. Nay: Ned Allen, Ted Spivey and Mayor Dale Flansburg. Motion defeated. Ned Allen made a motion to adjourn. Ted Spivey seconded. All in favor by roll call vote. 9:30 PM meeting adjourned.
