TOWN OF TIFFIN TIFFIN, IOWA 52340 Bill Bream made a motion to approve a budget to cover Jan.-June 1975 as requested by FHA for the water funds. Roger Janssen seconded. Motion carried. Mayor Brotherton reported that all materials were ready for the walk-way on 3rd St. and installation of bumpers and signs remains to be done. There followed decisions on the budget for fiscal year 1975-76. Various proposed projects were eliminated due to the fact that the City would not have the resources to fund them. Final approval will be made at a special meeting to be held in Feb. Glenn Potter made a motion to approve a liquor license for Cluresa A. Eggers to operate Slim's Tavern. Roger Janssen seconded. Motion carried by roll call vote. Roger Janssen made a motion to approve a cigarette permit for Cluresa A. Eggers contingent on payment of proper fee. Beverly Birtcher seconded. Motion carried. Bill Bream made a motion to comply with City Treasure Edna Miller's request of a salary increase form $210 to $240 per year. Beverly Birtcher seconded the motion. Motion carried by roll call vote. Glenn Potter made a motion to accept the January receipts. Judy Smith seconded. Motion carried. Judy Smith made a motion to pay the January bills including the Clark Spraying. Beverly Birtcher seconded. Birtcher, Janssen, Potter, Smith voted yes. Bream no.
