TOWN OF TIFFIN TIFFIN, IOWA 52340 August 11, 1976 The Tiffin City Council met in regular session on August 11, 1976 at 7:30 p.m. in City Hall. Mayor Brotherton presiding. Councilmembers present; Stratton, Potter and Janssen. Absent; Formanek and Morgan. Also present; Atty. Neuzil. Potter moved to approve the July 14th regular meeting minutes. Stratton seconded and motion carried unanimously. Janssen moved to accept the Clerk-Treas. financial report. Potter seconded and motion carried unanimously. Mayor Brotherton suspended the normal order of business to hear reports from Atty. Neuzil. Janssen moved to hear the first reading of Ordinance #74, amending Ordinance #70, establishing official posting places to publish and post notices and ordinances for the City of Tiffin, Iowa. Stratton seconded and motion carried unanimously. Ordinance #74 was then read. Potter moved to start condemnation proceedings on the Louis Voparil property, Main Street, north of the Tiffin Fire Station. Janssen seconded and motion carried unanimously. Potter moved to pay the following bills and accept the following receipts. Janssen seconded and motion carried unanimously.
