Minutes-02/11/1981

The Tiffin City Council met in special session on Wednesday, January 28, 1981 at the Tiffin Methodist Church for the purpose of hearing proposals for the use of approximately $2,225.00 in federal revenue sharing monies for the 1981-82 fiscal year. Mayor Formanek called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. Councilmembers present were Madden, Potter, Spivey, Rohret and Williams. No one was present at the meeting from the community and no written proposals were received by the clerk or the mayor. Motion Williams second Spivey to designate $500.00 for payment of legal publications costs and $1,725.00 for payment for street lighting costs during the 1981-82 fiscal year. Motion carried unanimously. Council set date for budget workshop for February 11, 1981 at 6:45 p.m. before the regular February meeting.
