The Tiffin City Council met in special session on Wednesday, March 4, 1981 at the Tiffin Methodist Church for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed budget for fiscal year 1981-82. Mayor Formanek called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. Council-members present were Madden, Potter, Spivey and Rohret. Absent: Williams. No community input. Motion Madden second Rohret to reaffirm original motion passed on January 28, 1981 to designate $500.00 of federal revenue sharing money for payment of legal publication costs and $1,725.00 of federal revenue sharing money for payment for street lighting costs. Carried unanimously. Discussion concerning necessary amount of police protection. Discussion will be placed on agenda for regular March meeting. Motion Rohret second Potter to adopt Resolution No. 1981-1 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1982. Roll call vote; Madden, aye; Potter, aye; Spivey, aye; Rohret, aye. Carried unanimously. Williams; absent. Motion Madden second Spivey to adjourn at 8:10 p.m. Carried unanimously. ROGER M.
