Minutes-11/04/1985

The Tiffin City Council met in special session on Wednesday, September 4, 1985 at the Tiffin fire station in order to interview applicants for the position of grounds maintenance/utilities director. Mayor Potter called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Council members present were Cox, Morgan, Spivey and Stevens. Runge was absent. Motion Spivey second Morgan to go into closed session under Chapter 28A Sec. 6.1.i. to evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance or discharge is being considered when necessary to prevent needless or irreparable injury to that individual's reputation and that individual requests a closed session. Roll call vote: Spivey, aye; Stevens, aye; Morgan, aye; Cox, aye. Runge, absent. Carried. Motion Stevens second Cox at 8:30 p.m. to continue meeting until 6:30 September 5, 1985 in order to conduct the interview of an applicant who could not be present tonight.
