Potter: Divert all complaints to me and we'll enforce whatever the ordinance says. Hart: The EPA inspection today cited three violations. 1) No flow meter at the holding ponds measuring discharge. 2) Temperature comprehension dial does not work. 3) Time of samples not recorded in hours and minutes. The current permit has also expired. The new application is on the way. The EPA did not notify us of the expiration. I'll submit the necessary reply for the corrections. Hart stated that he'd check on a dust abatement which Iowa City is using. Stratton asked who is responsible for mowing the other side of the alley from Mick Kahler's. The property is outside of the city limits. It is the property owners responsibility to mow it. The city does not have any recourse to be sure it is mowed. Motion Stoner second Morgan to approve clerk-treasurer's reports. Carried unanimously. Morgan asked that a replacement for Ralph Brown be placed on next month's agenda. Hart stated that Herring has to wait until the certification test is offered again. He did not take the last test because it was offered right after the water certification test and it was too far away. Motion Morgan second Stoner to approve bills and accept receipts. Carried unanimously. Motion Soivey second Stoner to adjourn at 9:15 p.m. Carried unanimously. GLENN POTTER, MAYOR ADELIA S. KERN, CLERK-TREASURER
