Tim Wolfe asked council to ask Ray Scheetz to use individual garbage containers at each trailer in the mobile home park. Wolfe reported that the large dumpster is rusted out on the bottom and in danger of falling apart and that people put large items, such as sofas and refrigerators in the dumpsters. According to the contract between Wolfe and the city, Wolfe does not need to haul away large items. Individuals are supposed to contact him for special arrangements for large items. Also, when the dumpsters are full, people throw the garbage on the ground around the dumpsters. People who do not live in the mobile home court also bring garbage to the dumpsters. Also under the contract, the each household should have a container set at the street. Scheetz told Wolfe that he would rather not have the cans because he thinks it would create more mess. The county is raising fees for the landfill and restricting its use to recyclable items. Attorney: You have a contract which has not been enforced. Wolfe does not need to haul trash from the trailer court unless they abide by the regulations of the contract. Council consensus to instruct attorney to notify Ray Scheetz that the dumpsters should be removed from the trailer court within thirty days and that each household should set the garbage at the street in a container.
